November 11, 2011. If I had more time, I would spend it just looking at things. Maybe I'm too simple, but all it takes is a sight like this to keep me interested for a long time.

I don't find any fault with making the time to look upon things. Taking the time to appreciate them & sketching them down is something more involved than taking a snap shot.

May be it is not you being too simple, maybe there are too many who have over complicated things and are failing to see beauty right before their eyes.

Another very fine image, thank you for sharing Rob.

Beautiful one! I agree, there is sooo much to take in sometimes. I often wonder what God expects of us in our use of time.

thank you Owl and Tortoise (That sounds like a good children's book!) and also John Philip. I think it brings pleasure to God when we stop and enjoy.

this is a good thing - you are happy with the small and simple things in life. those are God's greatest gifts. if we can find pleasure in those we are definitely joyfully fulfilled people! love ALL these fall paintings. :) e.

For some reason, these last two falls have been my favorite- more color than I remember in years past.
