Sunday in Sicily

Sunday in Sicily

December 17, 2011. I've been waiting months to sleep in. Finally it's Christmas break, and what do I do? I get up at 6 AM to draw pictures.

Love it Rob! So many interesting bits. The couple, the clothes line, the well. Superb!

Wonderful. I love your sketches! If you're still here in Italy take some time to visit Matera, in north of Sicily. Great places to urban sketches: take a look

Hi Donato,
I will certainly check out the sketches. Believe it or not, I'm not actually there yet! I've been drawing scenes just to inspire me for when I do get there. We'll be in Catania for a few days between January 3-6 only. How far is Matera from Palermo? Is it on the way to Catania?

Matera it's about 450 Km from Catania, and on the way.
Anyway, Sicily, Palermo and Catania are great places to draw! :-D
