January 7, 2013. We live in a strange world. Some people spend as much for a television as I make in one year. A few years ago, we had a television. I started considering what benefits it brought our family, and I just couldn't find anything substantial. At the end of my life I'm sure I'm not going to think, "I just wish I would have spent more time watching T.V." (This is not to say I haven't developed other ways of wasting time. My computer knows how to suck precious hours away just as well.)
